Associate members are restricted to providing services under the supervision of an unrestricted member.
There are four classes of membership:
i. Ontario members
ii. Probationary / Associate
iii Non-Resident
iv.Honourary members
An applicant is eligible to be an Ontario Member if he or she is:
i. eligible for membership (see separate page for eligibility requirements), and
ii. is ordinarily resident in Ontario, and
iii. is a Canadian citizen or has been lawfully admitted into Canada for permanent residence.
An applicant may be eligible to be a Probationary / Associate Member if he or she is:
i. not eligible for Ontario membership, and
iii operates under the direct supervision of an Ontario or Non-Resident member
An applicant is eligible to be a Non-Resident Member if he or she is:
i. eligible for Ontario membership, and
ii. is not normally resident in Ontario
A Probationary Member shall have no vote and shall not be eligible to be a member of the Board of Directors
